This has been a very eventful weekend in the Kendall house and it's only Saturday morning. On Friday, Hadley moved into her big girl bed and gave up pull-ups! She has been so excited about the bed and has been talking about it for weeks. We did a countdown calendar and every morning she would wake up and remember that her bed was coming.
Yesterday she patiently waited all day until the delivery arrived after 4pm. She was really to jump out of her body when it was all put together and she could lay on her bed, FINALLY! She did a great job sleeping in it all night long and got out of bed all on her own this morning.
She has also been working very hard on potty training. She goes several times a day at school and for the past 2 weeks she has told us first thing in the morning and right before bed that she has to go and has actually made pee on the potty. So, yesterday we decided to hide the pull-ups and she stayed in underwear all day. She only had 1 accident late in the day; otherwise it was a success. As she played this morning she also told us she had to go poo-poo and she did that in the potty too!
We couldn't be happier and prouder of our little girl who has grown up so much in the last 2.5 years and even more so in the last 24 hours! Yeah Hadley!
