Hadley Standing

Hadley has very strong legs from all the jumping she does at school every day. Tonight she stood for the first time. She got an activity table for Christmas from daddy and she got so excited about all the stuff on it that she just stood up! We were so proud of her but her face shows how proud SHE is of herself!

Christmas Cutie

Hadley had a great 1st Christmas and she made out like a bandit! She got everything from her first chair to a piano, to tub toys and an Elmo airplane from her Aunt Aly and Uncle Rob. She has so much fun playing with everything!

She is also quite fascinated with opening presents. She now believes that anything wrapped is solely for her and that she should rush over and attempt to open it. Her 1st birthday should be a lot of fun!!

Mommy's Birthday Party

This weekend we celebrated a 30th birthday but you would never know it because Hadley stole the party with her cuteness! Here are some cute pictures of her being a princess and driving a car!

We're Back!!

Ok, so I have been a VERY bad blogger! We ran out of space on our blog for loading new posts and between the selling of our house, the move and the holidays I am just now getting around to getting things back online. So . . . here are some pictures over the last couple of months to get everyone caught up on Hadley's beauty! :)

Pumpkin Patch

On Saturday we went to Rombach's pumpkin patch in Chesterfield. We had a lot of fun walking around and the weather was really nice. Hadley was absolutely fascinated by the pumpkins and had a difficult time paying attention for pictures. We did get a few cute shots to post on the blog!

5 Months Old!

It's hard to believe but Hadley was 5 months old on Monday! She is getting to be so big. She loves to spit bubbles, she eats big girl food, she rolls EVERYWHERE and she's obsessed with eating her feet. She is also getting very strong legs from standing her jumper at school and at home.

Sweet Potatoes

Tonight Hadley had her first taste of real food . . . sweet potatoes. They actually taste like the real thing. (I tried a little). She really liked them as you can see by her sweet potato beard!

Chicago

I have been a very bad blogger lately because we've been so busy! Last weekend we went to Chicago for cousin Tyson's wedding. Him and Kerry looked beautiful and we're so happy for them. While we were there we got to catch up with some of the Kendall clan.

Unfortunately we weren't able to do much in downtown because Hadley got sick on the way up. So we spent our free time in the burbs and were able to shop, have Chicago-style pizza and go to one of our favorite lunch spots, Potbellys.

Just Plain Cute

Hadley loves sitting up now particularly because she can see her feet which she is obsessed with lately! Here are some cute pics of her in pjs from Nana.

Where's the Cereal??

Hadley just LOVES her cereal. Most nights she gobbles up so fast we can barely keep up. The other night (before a bath) I decided to let her play with her bowl. She was quite funny and kept looking at me like "where the cereal?" Her little jaw kept chewing. Then she threw her bowl on the floor.

Hadley has been able to be propped up for some time but this morning she sat up by herself. Well, she kinda leaned but we're counting it!

Just the Girls!

On Sunday night we went to Rob & Alyson's for dinner so that they could meet cousin Tyson's fiance, Kerry. While we were there, Lauren & Keira were unbelievably cute and cuddly with Hadley! Here they are after dinner just having fun together! Hadley loves her cousins!

I Appreciate Fine Whine

This weekend cousin Tyson and his fiance Kerry came to visit from Chicago. Hadley and I had a lot of fun showing them around town, going to the history museum and botanical garden and just hanging out.

On Sunday we all went out to the wineries for a little bit. As you will see, Hadley got very into it by wearing her "I appreciate fine whine" onesie and trying to enjoy a bit of wine. Silly baby!

Daddy Bathtime

So, part of being a new parent is figuring out which things you're good at and which ones you're bad at. As it turns out, Todd is MUCH better at bathtime that I am. Hadley seems to enjoy it more and he makes all the tasks fun for her. I am all business and would never think to do the things he does.

Tonight, while washing her hair, he created a mohawk of sorts with the shampoo. Hadley never really gave us a good profile shot but you can kinda see it in the pictures. Way to go, daddy!

I Love Baby Crocs!!

Hadley has new shoes and they're pink baby crocs! So cute!!

Hadley's 1st Cards Game

Last night we went to the Cardinals game thanks to one of grandma's clients! Hadley had a great time and really enjoyed looking around at the people. We took her cousin Lauren too which made for a great night of family, fun and baseball!!

First Cereal

Tonight Hadley tried rice cereal for the very first time and she LOVED it!!! The doctor warned us that she may gag and spit a little but that was not the case. At first she just kinda moved her mouth around but about halfway through the bowl she started fussing if we did not get it into her mouth fast enough! I guess she was ready for cereal! She ate almost the entire bowl (2 tablespoons) and a 4oz bottle! What a little piggy! Here are some cute pics of her with it all over her face!

Playtime with Nana

Today Nana came over to see Hadley. She was quite amazed by how quickly she can roll over! Hadley gave her lots of smiles and cuddles and of course some drool! Nana also bought her a musical set of stacking rings for Hadley to drool on later. Nana is notorious for buying ALL of her grandchildren musical/noise-making toys so we're not surprised that Hadley has already started receiving them. Christmas will be a fun, fun time! :)
